Lifetime Licenses

Lifetime Sportsman’s Licenses are available online for purchase at https://www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com/! Once you login to Go Outdoors Georgia, select the license applicable to you, upload the requested documentation, and checkout! Lifetime Sportsman’s Licenses are not available for purchase at retail agents or by calling the Service Desk at 1-800-366-2661. If necessary, you may also submit your Lifetime License Application by mail. View the Lifetime License Application to print your application for mailing.
Once legally obtained, Georgia lifetime licenses remain valid even if a person later becomes a resident of another state. Lifetime licenses are full-privilege sportsman's licenses, and include all state paid recreational hunting and fishing privileges (see below for additional no-cost state licenses that may be required).

If you were born before July 1, 1952, you are eligible to get a lifetime license at no cost. If you were born after June 30, 1952 and are 65 and or older, your lifetime license is at a greatly discounted rate of $35–$70.

If you hunt waterfowl and are 16 or older, you will also need to purchase the Federal Duck Stamp.

Trapping or other commercial licenses are not included.

*Must be issued by Georgia Department of Driver Services, must be current, and excludes cards issued as evidence of foreign legal presence in the United States which cannot be accepted (OCGA §40-5-21.1).
